Three professional licenses were issued in zip code 90250 during 2019, according to California’s Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA). In the previous year, there were two licenses issued, marking a 50 percent increase year over year.

Three zip codes had the most professional licenses issued in the coverage area with four each.

The DCA is composed of several agencies, bureaus, and commissions that influence business growth and job creation through regulation. The agency has roots that date back to 1876 when California passed the Medical Practice Act of 1876.
