NOTICE THAT CITY COUNCIL IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR VACANCIES ON PLANNING COMMISSION AND FINANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there shall be vacancies for unexpired terms ending June 2021 on the following Commissions and Committees following the Certification of the November 3, 2020 General Municipal Election. The deadline to file an application for a seat on any of the following Commissions or Committees is Thursday, January 7th, 2021 at 5:00 PM.
PLANNING COMMISSION (unexpired term ending June 30, 2021) - ONE (1) SEAT
FINANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE (unexpired term ending June 30, 2021) - ONE (1) SEAT
Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office by 5:00 P.M. Thursday, January 7th, 2021. To be considered for appointment, an applicant must be a resident of the City of Palos Verdes Estates and a registered voter. An “Application for Civic Service” can be requested from the City Clerk’s Office, 340 Palos Verdes Drive West, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274, by phone at 310-378-0383, or obtained from the City’s website at www.pvestates.org.
The City Council will conduct all applicant interviews at a Special Meeting commencing at a time and date to be determined by the City Council; and shall make appointments to fill all vacancies during the regular meeting of the City Council on January 26, 2021.
