City of Hermosa Beach recently issued the following announcement.
Event Name: Veterans Day Celebration

Location: Community Center - CLOSED until further notice (Tennis Courts OPEN and Skate Park OPEN) 710 Pier Avenue Hermosa Beach, California 90254
Due to COVID-19, the City will not have it's annual Veterans Day Commemoration and Candlelight Ceremony in 2020. However, we hope you will join us in honoring our Veterans through the activities listed below.
"Veterans Are Timeless" Campaign
The City will honor Veterans who have a special connection to the City of 'Hermosa Beach. All submissions will be shared on the City's social media channels, the City website and the City's cable TV channels in the month of November. Please note: the submission period is closed.
Veterans Day Celebration
Stop by the Veterans Memorial located at the Hermosa Beach Community Center's East Lawn to share your thanks to our Veterans on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11 from 11:00am through sundown. The "Veterans Are Timeless" Campaign submissions will be showcased, along with other special additions to the site. All attendees are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing while visiting the Veterans Memorial.
