The Stonehill Skyhawks, featuring former Redondo Union High School standout Amelia Styskal-Ward, suffered an 8-0 defeat to the Boston Terriers during their NCAA Division II softball contest at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18.

The matchup was held at BU Softball Field and marked the first meeting of the season between the Skyhawks and the Terriers.

Pitcher Styskal-Ward gave up five earned runs over four innings, finishing with three walks and one strikeout.

The Skyhawks are set to play their next game against the Boston Terriers at BU Softball Field on Wednesday, March 18, at 4 p.m.
