Stonehill’s Amelia Styskal-Ward appears in March 15 NCAA Division II softball loss to Wagner

Former Redondo Union High School standout Amelia Styskal-Ward took the field for the Stonehill Skyhawks on Sunday, March 15, at 12 p.m. as Stonehill fell 15-1 against the Wagner Seahawks in NCAA Division II softball action.

The matchup was held at Fr. William Gartland Field and marked the third time this season the Skyhawks faced the Seahawks. During their prior meeting on Saturday, March 14, Stonehill lost 13-4.

Styskal-Ward gave up four earned runs in two innings of work.

The Skyhawks are next set to compete on Wednesday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at BU Softball Field, where they will face the Boston Terriers.
