During the fourth quarter of 2025, Redondo Beach homeowners paid property taxes at a rate equal to 0.6% of their property values, which is about 0.7 times under the national average, data from BlockShopper.com show.

The median sale price of a home in Redondo Beach was $1,442,000 in Q4 2025, reflecting activity from 120 properties sold in that period. The city’s median tax bill for 2025 was $9,277, amounting to 0.6% of the taxed homes’ median value.

The average effective property tax rate across the U.S. reached 0.888% in 2024.

Within Los Angeles County, the two cities with the highest effective property tax rates were Bradbury and unincorporated Palmdale.
