Pepperdine falls 11-2 to Washington despite Pierson Howe’s pitching

On Tuesday, March 24, at 3:35 p.m., Pepperdine Waves, featuring former Bishop Montgomery High School standout Pierson Howe, suffered an 11-2 defeat against the Washington Huskies in NCAA Division I baseball.

Eddy D. Field Stadium was the site of the contest, marking the teams’ initial meeting of the season.

Howe pitched two innings, surrendering three earned runs, issuing two walks, and notching two strikeouts.

The Waves are set to return to Eddy D. Field Stadium for their next game on Friday, March 27, when they face the San Diego Toreros.
