On Sunday, March 30, former Palos Verdes High School standout Jamie Robertson’s current college team, the San Diego Toreros, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Pepperdine Waves.
The game took place at Fowler Park. This was their third matchup against the Waves this season.
The Toreros’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark against UC Irvine Anteaters.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former South Bay Leader area high school athletes will be active in competitions the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
