On Saturday, March 23, former Bishop Montgomery High School standout Kayla Padilla’s current collegiate team the USC Trojans won 87-55 against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Los Angeles, California, this was the first game against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders during the championship.
The USC Trojans’ next game will take place on Monday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in Los Angeles, California against Kansas Jayhawks.
