On Friday, March 7, former Mira Costa High School standout Maximo Martinez’s current college team, the USC Trojans, lost 7-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oregon Ducks.
The game took place at Dedeaux Field. This was their first matchup against the Ducks this season.
The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Dedeaux Field against Oregon Ducks.
During the week beginning Monday, March 2, these former South Bay Leader area high school athletes will be in action.
