The Redlands Bulldogs, featuring former Palos Verdes Peninsula High School standout Mateo Carresi, fell to the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens 26-2 during their NCAA Division III matchup held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7.
The contest was played at Alumni Field and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Redlands previously lost to the Sagehens 6-4 in the game on Friday, March 6.
Carresi pitched 0.2 innings, surrendering one earned run and issuing four walks.
The Bulldogs are set to face Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens again on Saturday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m. at Alumni Field.
