The Los Angeles Clippers have faced a difficult start to the 2025-26 NBA season, with ongoing off-court issues and poor performance on the court. The team is currently under investigation involving Steve Ballmer and Kawhi Leonard, and holds a 7-21 record, placing them 13th in the Western Conference. Recently, Chris Paul was sent home during a road trip after reports emerged that his leadership was not well received by the team.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James continues his 23rd NBA season, showing both strong performances and some struggles. In a recent game against the Clippers, James scored 36 points on 15-of-28 shooting. Despite his efforts, the Lakers lost as they were missing three starters and Luka Doncic left at halftime.

After the loss, James was asked about Chris Paul’s situation with the Clippers. He responded through Dave McMenamin of ESPN:

“It’s not for me to comment on, to be honest. It’s none of my business.” – LeBron James when asked about Chris Paul’s abrupt exit from the Clippers

James is known for speaking out on issues he finds important but chose not to discuss Paul’s departure. It remains unclear if this is due to a request from Paul or because the situation has yet to be resolved.

Meanwhile, James Harden commented on LeBron James’ scoring achievements. James now leads Kareem Abdul-Jabbar by over 4,000 points for most points in NBA history after taking sole possession of the record in February 2023. Harden remarked that no one should consider breaking LeBron’s record, suggesting it will stand for a long time.
