Former Mira Costa High School star Juju O’Brien suited up with the Columbia Lions on Saturday, April 25, at 3 p.m. for their NCAA Division I softball matchup, ending in a 4-1 loss to the Penn Quakers.

The contest was held at Penn Park, marking the teams’ second meeting of the season. Earlier that day at 12:30 p.m., the Lions defeated the Quakers 6-3.

O’Brien posted one hit in three plate appearances, scored a run, and stranded one runner.

The Lions are set to play the Quakers again at Penn Park on Sunday, April 26.
