On Tuesday, April 1, former Palos Verdes Peninsula High School standout Jake Mckenna’s current college team, the Tusculum Pioneers, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Young Harris Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Zell B. Miller Field. This was their first matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at Newman Park against Catawba Indians.
