Hofstra Pride secured a 3-2 win against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in their NCAA Division I baseball game played Tuesday, March 31, at 6 p.m. Former Redondo Union High School standout Maddon McArthur contributed to the victory for his college team.

The matchup, held at Bainton Field, marked the first meeting between the two teams this season.

McArthur appeared on the mound for 1.2 innings and tallied two strikeouts.

The Pride’s upcoming game is set for Thursday, April 2, against the Towson Tigers at the John B. Schuerholz Baseball Complex.
