During a Feb. 11 inspection, Fresh Healthy Habits, Inc. in Gardena received three citations from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), FDA data shows.

Inspection areas included:

  • Foodborne Biological Hazards

According to the FDA website, the following citations were issued to the company:

  • ‘You did not maintain your plant in a clean and sanitary condition and in adequate repair.’
  • ‘You did not implement the monitoring procedures listed in your HACCP plan.’
  • ‘You are not monitoring the sanitation conditions and practices with sufficient frequency to assure conformance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices including protection of food, food packaging material, and food contact surfaces from adulteration.’
