During a March 17 inspection for foodborne biological hazards, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued five violations to Masterpiece JP, Inc. in Torrance, according to data released on the FDA’s website.
The company’s violations, as listed by the FDA website, include the following:
- ‘You did not develop an FSVP.’
- ‘Your hazard analysis did not identify a hazard that requires a control.’
- ‘You did not document.’
- ‘Your foreign supplier verification activities did not provide assurance that the hazards requiring a control in the food you import have been significantly minimized or prevented.’
- ‘Your verification activity did not address the entity that is significantly minimizing or preventing the hazards or verifying that the hazards have been significantly minimized or prevented.’
