Cal State Dominguez Hills tops Chico State 14-3 in Division II baseball matchup

At 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, former Junipero Serra High School standout Nigel Buckley contributed to the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros’ 14-3 NCAA Division II win over the Chico State Wildcats.

The matchup took place at Nettleton Stadium, marking the third contest between the teams this season. The Toros previously defeated the Wildcats 6-3 in an earlier game held Saturday, March 7.

Buckley tallied two hits in five at-bats, scored once and left eight runners stranded.

The Toros will next face the Chico State Wildcats at Nettleton Stadium on Sunday, March 8, at 12 p.m.
