Anthony Ramos, a former Torrance High School standout, contributed to the Benedict Tigers’ 8-7 victory over the Paine Lions in their NCAA Division II baseball matchup at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.

Tiger Field was the site of this contest, marking the second time these teams faced each other this season. In their earlier meeting, also on Tuesday, Feb. 24, the Tigers secured a 10-4 win against the Lions.

Ramos pitched one inning, allowing two walks.

The Tigers are scheduled to play their next game Saturday, Feb. 28, at 12 p.m. at Western Hills Baseball Field against the Kentucky State Thorobreds.
